Aird Cabin-An Stac is a newly built cabin completed in May 2025, it sits privately in its own grounds providing privacy with privare parking. looking across the sound of Sleat, with open views over to the small Isles and the mainland. Its a peaceful location in the South end of the Island known as "The Garden Of Skye". The cabin has a open plan kitchen,dining and living area, seperate bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with a large walk in shower.
We have a bench outside to sit, relax and enjoy the views, you might be lucly and spot some red deer roaming the hills next to you or experience one of the white tail eagles flying over head that are frequent visitors to the area. You may also have one the sheep in the field next to you coming to say hello!
Aird of Sleat is only 10 minutes from the Mallaig to Armadale ferry terminal and Armadale castle and gardens. Sleat has a lot to offer with gift shops, a whisky distillery, pubs, restaurants/cafes and many woodland walks.
Aird is where you start the walk to the point of Sleat lighthouse, at the southernmost point of Skye. Good spot for seeing marine mammals with more views to the islands of Eigg and Rum. Also boasts the sandy beach "Camas Daraich".
